The freedom effect (and item property) renders the affected creature immune to the paralysis, slow, entangle, and movement speed decrease effects. Common sources of this effect/property include equipped items and the spell freedom of movement.

• In NWScript, there is no simple test for a creature having freedom. Instead, such a creature is regarded as having the above four immunities. (In most cases, this simplifies scripts, as it is usually one of these immunities that is of interest, not the source of that immunity.)
